Just let me rest my aching back for a couple months first. You young whippersnappers do your thing and I'll join you once my sciatica stops giving me fits. Oh, also, keep your fingers crossed I don't fall and break a hip on my stairs before I install a chair-lift in my mansion. But I'm definitely "playing" my 23rd season! I'm going to be the oldest player to "play" or die trying! I might have to settle for being the oldest player listed on a roster, instead of actually playing. Oh my poor back. And the increased nocturnal urination frequency combined with weak-ass stream syndrome is starting to bleed over into the day, so when I do struggle out onto the court in a few months, don't worry if you see me disappear into the locker room for long periods of time. Nurse! Nurse?!? Where's my testosterone injection? I need to go hard, not go HALF

Around the NBA? House of Random? Shit, even the Melo thread? No, let's just start a new one every time you itch your balls I guess.
Don’t even joke about the great glorious Melo to portland and the big blockbuster thread with extra fiber and vitamin D being tainted with this stuff man.

Soon to be “Now including Kiyan Anthony”

Man I hope he ends up being a Blazer. We’re going to be talking about Mythical status with that thread if that ever happens.

Who am I for $1000.00 Alex.
Lebron, of course. But it was his leg, not his back. I forgot about that. I just think it's kind of crazy that he's that old and still going, but ...not going exactly. And I know about old, I just had my 47th BDay, but I'm in pretty good shape.

If we were to make you mod for a day, nobody would post but you. If they did, you'd either delete their post or move it to OT (or to a new, unnamed forum).

@THE HCP - Mod for a day!

No doubt. This sums up The HCP so damn perfectly! And whining every other post, "Mods?", it's so silly and pathetic. And to think he has the privilege of working for the Blazers organization and yet still needs to do this perpetually like some slave to his own ego.

I wish your privilege of starting threads would be revoked. Or better yet you’d just go away.

I'm so sorry, dear, fragile, old, fuddy-duddy! I know that seeing topics that cause you distress and misery and suffering (adding on to the heaps of abuse and misfortune, aches and pains, stresses and worries of your already downtrodden life of nothing better to do other than to fret and worry about topics on an internet messageboard or whether daily bowel movements will prevent you from watching Wheel of Fortune or Judge Judy reruns....I know these topics make your life harder, but try to hold on! Hold on tight to what hopes you can! There's a lot of joy to be had in the world! Especially outside the sphere of your couch and grimy little Windows 98 laptop! Hold on! You're gonna make it!

@THE HCP is a good guy. Been around forever and provides good input occasionally. I hope he is around much longer.

Sometimes needs to be taken with a grain of salt though.

He takes all the Mrs HCP jokes is stride; opinionated sometimes but a good guy.

Hey hey hey! That is the husband of the woman who has helped us all cope with various ailments at different and difficult times in our life! I will not hear this slander!

“Just took a huge poop today, took me about 15 minutes to get all of it out”

Response: Thats gross man, nobody wants to hear about your poops.

Response 2: Mods!!! Merge with the Official Poop thread.

Response 3: You don’t have to start a new thread every time you take a poop.

Reply: “Oh, I’m sorry response 1. Sneaking in the background as you emerge from beyond the corn husks you proudly saunter in to give your opinion in a clandestine manner. Perhaps if your IQ were higher than that which I have flushed in such a distinguished way, you would appreciate my greatness. This reminds me of the time I was pooping in an Arby’s bathroom when I realized there was no toilet paper, and Dame himself heard me cry out and went to get an associate to fetch me some TP for thy royal b-hole.”

“I’m starting to understand your modus operandi response 2. Maybe you would be taken seriously if your video edits were half as marvelous to look at as the massive log I just flushed down the golden toilet inside of my mansion”

“What would we do without you to proudly post this response number 3? I’m surprised you have time to do so between painstakingly painting your I love Lucy dolls which you keep organized by height on your pathetic nightstand”

Let's chill with attacking each other.
I agree. I'm just sick of making a topic and having certain people go nuts and act like I'm taking a flame thrower to a nursery. If you don't like my topics, don't read them and ignore it. Plain and simple.

I'm making a topic (and marking it off-topic) about the absurdity and laughability regarding LeBron James starting another season and yet not starting due to dealing with his old age. If you don't agree with what I'm saying or find it interesting or funny or whatever, you certainly don't have to read it or reply or spend any time on it. That's up to you.

I'm not making topics about any random thought that I have or things that I am doing in my personal life. You're projecting that kind of garbage on me from your own lives and problems. If you are incapable of seeing the irony and absurdity of what is going on with LeBron James or other things like that, then just move on and stick to what you can do.

There's no reason to get all up in arms and lose your shit over my topics. You can try to settle down and keep it in your pants and use plenty of paper.

I never understood the point of putting every single topic together in one topic on these kinds of forums and message boards. With work I frequently need to research things online regarding things to do with consumer electronics and so I often see the AVS forum coming up on Google. It's extremely annoying and mindless as hell to have to sift through hundreds of pages of a single topic dedicated to one subject instead of diversifying and having easier to find and read, separate topics, especially when their search function doesn't really work well. Who wants to read posts from 15 years ago when you're trying to find something current? Or who wants to play the "relevant info I'm looking for scavenge hunt" game by searching through and trying to find what you're looking for in hundreds of pages of posts from decades past?

Anyway, they recently did a poll on this Blazers site asking people what they prefer and the people that prefer multiple topics instead of just one topic was overwhelmingly winning the poll.

I wanted to make a topic regarding the surprise I had at Sharpe and Camara getting lower than expected deals done and then I went and looked to see if it had already been made and it hadn't and then I looked in the topic where it said "extensions for Sharp and Camara?".

Skipping to the end of that I could start to see the discussion around their contracts that were just signed. That's kind of okay, I guess, but I think the news is noteworthy enough to have its own topic instead of people talking about when the contract will come in or be done and then adding on at the end, the recent news. Largely, it's about the topic title. Why not let that topic be fading deeper into the pile and a new topic that has a more accurate title to the news start and that way the recent news is being discussed directly and right away in the topic instead of at the bottom of a bunch of pages?

Either way, it's kind of crazy how so many people throw a big fit and act like toddler having a tantrum about multiples topics when the majority of people voted that they prefer separate topics.

I’m never going to forget how you slandered Mark Mason… Plain and simple.
