Been FOREVER since I've been here... So long I can't even navigate the boards lol!! How's it going?
 
In game thread is the sticky at the top of the page. Everything else is open game. If you "quote" someone's comments, they get an email. Folks usually reply pretty quickly.

Aww, I feel loved . I've been mourning the loss of all those players I love so well. Times they are a changing. I've been able to keep up with some of the old regs through FB though, so that's always cool.

...deleted my FB account a few months back once THEY decided what info I could keep "private".
 
People put their entire lives on Facebook. I just don't understand it. Especially when you see these people who actually think they have 2000 friends.
 
^^^lol...good point about the "friends".

...I have seen WAY too many people foolishly put their personal business online for the world to see...I just don't get it. And a lot of the stuff is just so trivial. I mean does anybody really give a rip if someone says "I had a cheeseburger for lunch:...then come back an hour later and say "Oh, btw, I also had fries with that burger". And if that's not enough, others will actually "like" the 2nd post.
 
I am very guarded about what I put on FB, but I have many friends that live in Europe and it's a great way to keep in touch. Well I may have a pretty selfie or two on there lol!!

Your boy seems to be doing pretty good in Detroit Bos, maybe it was a combination of playing in NY & that stupid Joba rules shit. That beard just looks ridiculous though.

...yeah, the majority of the people who use FB do use common sense and discretion when posting. My wife, Annie, has an account but is only a "snooper" and never posts anything of her own. She does however, keep tabs on some family members and acqaintences and she's constantly telling me "You ain't gonna believe the shit that _____ is saying on FB." And most of it are things that should be kept to themselves.

I have a FB account to keep up with photos of my grandchildren but for the most part I can't believe most of the shit that's posted on there.
 
...yeah, initially I was able to find old friends and classmates, etc., but after awhile FB was boring for me.

Same here, deleted the FB account 5 yrs. ago...!

I never realized how dysfunctional my own extended family were, until FB gave them a forum to reveal their ignorance pompous B.S. I'm still wondering what gene pool some of my nieces and nephew really came from, not mine.....!!! :lol:
