I type this message now on my dad's laptop. Why? Because last night, my computer got a virus. I don't know how, but I'm guessing it was from Limewire.Being a bigtime music fan, I lost tons of music on my computer. Not just audio recordings, but countless hours of bootlegs. I lost schoolwork that is due at the beginning of the year. I lost tons of data and programs, not to mention some videogames :no1: So basically, after hours of trying everything in the book, I had to wipe my computer clean and start over. F*ck! The moral of this story: Back stuff up on your computer!

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Stupid viruses! :brucelee:

i have a firewall too but my advice get AVG Anitvirus system its very good

I use a total of none, viruses are overrated, people spazz out about them when it's usually an easily rectified problem, you just have to know what you're doing.

I got a virus through AIM before. They seem to go away after a while if you just ignore them.

Oh yea - I know all about that - it wasnt a virus though, my laptops harddrive was messed up and i had to get it replaced - i lost EVERYTHING it sucked so bad.

I have never had a problem with viruses since I've had this laptop. You might be able to recover the data if you're desperate and willing to pay a bit to get it all back.

Stupid viruses! :brucelee:</div>maybe the real moral of the story is to stop stealing music lol........naw it ain't ever happened to me, i guess i've been lucky. it happened to me once when i was at my cousins several years ago though but it was cause we were downloading porn, maybe you shouldn't download porn anymore lol

,90 percent of my music is downloaded and i dont get viruses you just have to be careful,when downloading a song make sure alot of other people have downloaded that file,as for porn,just dont be a dumbass and good "good porn" lmao the only thing you would probably get are sites full of viruses and spyware,you just have to know where to go,and im not going to share any sites with you guys cause thats sort of like spamming
