I'm so confused. In both of the last two games, Webster came out of fire and then got yanked. It made absolutely no sense. I'm pissed. I thought we were going to compete for one of the top two spots in the West this season. It looks like we're just another first round and out team again.

OK, but whatever you do please don't turn on Oden!

I think you should keep on rolling and turn on your habit of jumping to conclusions based off of small sample sizes. Don't get me wrong, this isn't really related, but I figured it would be worth a try.

What if you were right, and the season was over after the first game? Then what?

What's new. He's not one of "Nate's Boys".

So fucking frustrating. He had a bunch of the early points...then he takes him out and then they don't score again for quite some time....just keeps him out due to some strange fetish to have a set rotations based on time, not gameflow. Sickening.

Great.

But what makes your post so significant that it needed it's own thread? You could have easily posted it in one of the other hundred FIRE NATE (or similar) threads.

Not the first game but the first game against Denver. You HAVE to win your home games against your division rivals. Games like that come back and haunt you at the end of the season. That single game could cost us so much when the playoff seedings are determined. And what sucks is that it was a game that we were perfectly capable of winning.

So, we should just give up now and try to tank for John Wall?

You mean we haven't been?

No, just wait. We have even more nefarious plans to unleash.

Soon we will lose games by 50,75, even 100 points! That'll show the NBA who deserves the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th pick in the draft!

He hasn't been that great either. Got schooled by both Memphis and Utah.

Why do you even post? You know so very little about baskeketball and the NBA it isn't even worth reading your posts and I won't from now on. I know I will get banned and my post will be deleted but oh well. Oden is the only bright spot for the Blazers this year everyone else has been a huge disappointment including Nate.

What exactly have you been doing to turn on Nate? Is he turned on simply by watching you in old Bones re-runs? Maybe I don't really want the answer to this.

Webster should know by now. Play inconsistent and safe and you get the most time in the game. If you take chances, then you get yanked. ARG! HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

Considering how shitty the team is at getting him the ball. He has over exceeded anyone's realistic expectations. He's averaging nearly a double-double even though he's not getting many shot attempts and is only averaging 23 minutes a game.

Learn the game, then post.

If Nate can get through this period of time without losing the team and a whole new identity, he might be here for a long, long time.

A) You didn't say anything that should be deleted. Just your opinion.

B) I wasn't saying that Oden hasn't played well this season. He was masterful in the Chicago game. I was just saying he hasn't played that great the last two games. Gasol and Thabeet used him in the Memphis game and he only got three rebounds against the Jazz. Not his best efforts.

He played badly against Memphis and Utah. If you think he played well, then you have very low expectations of him.

It was dumb to yank out webster, Rudy and Oden during the game. Oden had 3 fouls and wasn't put into the game until midway of the 4th? Right now Oden is the only guy right now showing real grit on this team.
