Being the first and only team to beat the Heat, they choked against a Wade/LeBron-less Heat in triple overtime. But here's where it gets good. The next night, they went to overtime again against the Hornets and won despite playing 63 minutes the night before. Then TONIGHT on a third night of a back to back to back, they blowout the 7-1 Chicago Bulls.

Very impressive. Lesson for the Blazers. You can bounce back from the bad losses and triumph.

Congrats, Hawks fans.

Congrats, Hawks fans.

They let ya down in the end, though. I witnessed that during the 12 years I lived there. Same thing can be said about the Falcons.....and even the Braves.

they've also played a lot of road games, and have had like 3 minutes off all year.

changes how I feel about the loss last night and also just how "tough" or "real" the Blazers success has been so far.

I hope they take a nose dive.

It'd be wise to sacrifice a lot of the depth to land Al Horford.

He's the type of PF/C that would put us into the mix to win a title. He plays defense, shoots, and passes. He's an intangibles guy that you need.

Ah, to wish.

I yearn for the days when Portland fans don't always think the Blazers can get a teams best (or one of their best) players for nothing. That Gerald Wallace trade for a bucket of warmed over beer was the only time that's going to happen to Portland.

Poor Joel.

Hey, maybe we could still get him back like we got Plastic Man back in the Pippen deal! :ghoti:

There's an Around the NBA thread.

Yeah, I've been on the Horford train for awhile. Probably the best post defender in the NBA right now.

I look at the Hawks, and it really resembles a lot of the Blazers of 4 years ago.

Too early to tell. All they beat were the Bulls who beat the Clippers and the Lakers.
