So far the only movies I have seen that are really academy worthy are Inception, The Winter's Bones, and possibly Toy Story 3. Oscar season isn't here yet so I'm guessing we're going to get a lot of good ones. Particularly Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu's Biutiful starring Javier Bardem and Sofia Coppola's Somewhere.

You're in the minority, but not the only one. The movie is good but far from perfect. Particularly it's skimping on character development early on and it's lack of a great acting performance. As far as plot and originality goes I give it a 10/10.

Yup I give it a 10/10 too. I'd still put Dark Knight ahead of this though.

TDK > Inception > Memento at this point for me.

And though there wasn't one oscar-worthy performance, Ken Watanabe commands the screen every time. Awesome.

At the very least, I see at least 4 academy nominations in the major categories for Inception. One for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actress(Marion Cotillard), and Best Original Screenplay(Which is a lock).
