lol...yeah, that is pretty funny....but we are banged up, just not as much as you guys

What are they making excuses for a loss already?:evilfire:

this word "plague," it must mean something else in LA.

Kobe has a broken finger and Pau has a strained hamstring.

And Artest injured himself falling down his stairs. (Mark my words, Artest WILL knucklehead your team out of at least a couple victories in the playoffs)

Walton is still out with a condition known as "Sucking at Basketball".

As far as I know Kobe and Artest will be playing.

You know, if Pau was any kind of man he would play tonight.

That is hilarious!

There are three responses to the article:
One guy and LA is injury plagued? Dam look at the Blazer roster.
LOL...most idiotic headline ever...
And of course my favorite:
BEAT LA BEAT LA BEAT LA
Which one of you guys posted those?

Wait wait wait.....am i missing something here? While I agree the Lakers should take advantage and win vs a depleted Portland team...why is there no excuse for the Lakers as in LA better win this otherwise it means they suck? I mean i never justify any losses with an excuse but in no way it this a for sure Lakers win.

Portland is missing who exactly? Rudy Fernandez, sure a nice shooter. Joel Pryzbella, ok a serviceable cener but he ain't Amare or Shaq. Martel Webster, sure a nice athletic player but he isn't Lebron James. Steve Blake, a very decent PG, but lets not act as if he is Steve Nash out there. Batum, another very decent player but he is not Scottie Pippen. Lets face it the people you are missing tonight is not going to scare somebody.

The Lakers are missing Pau Gasol.......You Blazers fans honestly think we'd trade Gasol for all your above mentioned injured guys? LA fans...would you wanna part ways with Gasol for those decent bench players?

Last time I check the Blazers have Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge, your 2 best players on the court. I believe you still have Andre Miller and you have Jeroyd Bayless who will destroy Fisher on the court.

Bottom line is the Lakers should win tonight, but lets not talk as if the Lakers are playing some High School JV team. Roy and Aldridge alone can win you this game tonight and I have witnessed the Lakers losing to much worse teams. I will not at all be surprised if the Blazers owns us at the Rose Garden tonight.

Shit, now Martel is out!?

Interesting that that fan tries to talk shit (well, sort of) yet doesn't get all the players right AND conveniently forgets Greg Oden...and that those guys are ALL out and not just 1 player.

If what he says is true, let's see how the Lakers do without:

Odom, Walton, Bynum, Fisher, Sasha and Artest.

I think thats a fair comparison to us missing Travis, Rudy, Batum, Joel, Greg and Blake.

I love how Laker fans (and we do it too) are trying to not be obvious in the woofing. They'll probably talk all shorts of shit when they win tonight, and troll around here like this is an episode of Facts of Life.

I knew Webster couldn't go for 20 3 games in a row without someone taking his knees out. :sigh:

you've never talked all shorts of shit?

you haven't lived, Alabama Blazer Man.

Actually, I was just hoping that's the aftermath of a Blazer beat-down. :)
