Just watched the first episode last evening. Fascinating.
Which caused me to wonder.....
Rather than simply heavily tax the top income earners, why not incentivize them to head-up solutions to some of our top domestic issues? (homeless; climate change; drugs, alcohol, and opioids; mental illness; etc., etc., etc.)
I mean many of these folks are the top creative minds of our time...and could most likely come up with better solutions than our government(s) ($$) ever could.
Now, I'm not saying the wealthy shouldn't pay their collective fair share. They should. (the write-offs stuff is almost criminal and probably a big reason Trump is reluctant to publicly share his taxes. Yes, we need a huge change in our tax laws!!)
At any rate, I encourage you to watch the Bill Gates series. I can't wait to watch the next episode.
