I think this explains a lot how their season went off the rails late

Good read. And all points to the fact we need to step on their throat in game 1. I'm telling you, we win that game and this will be a very short series (unless it is a razor close we score late/in OT type of game...then the Pens may have some life still). To me game 1 is the Pens shot to hit reset and say forget all the BS down the stretch, forget all the L's down the stretch, forget all the struggles down the stretch. If the game is controlled by us and we win 4-2 or something along those lines, I just don't see how the Pens come back.

And the Rangers are due for a win when I am in the building this season....
