Is Boki Ready?

I was wondering when Boki would perk up, but the showing tonight says that he's potentially ready to being a reliable guy. Is this a fluke or has he broken through the wall?
He was great off the bench for us last year, and the motion sets might not have been getting him the ball at the best times, so this might have been part of the reason of his stagnant play. I'm hoping that he and Nenad can grow into an off the bench perimeter tandom. Very excited for the win tonight also.

He had one good game, but you still need to see more. Personally, if I were a Nets fan, I would be happy with this, but I would want to see a lot more. There is no way he is close to being a leader. He doesn't seem the type to speak up or get his teamates in to it. There is Jefferson, Carter, Kidd, it is hard for Boki. I say, let it play out and see what happens.</p>

Now that I think about, what is he the leader of? He's not dominant on offense, he just waits to get set up, by either Kidd or Carter.</p>

I totally agree. Yes it was one game, and yes we would need to chart this out. I should have qualified "being a leader" in terms of play, focus and part of the character of our bench. I guess you add these up and you have an emotional leader, which on this team is much needed.

He started off slowly last year as well. It was around this time last he stepped up. In fact, he often starts slowly, then gets hot in one game and it carries over for a few more.</p>

He is a long range shooter. They are streaky.</p>

The big thing about tonight was he wanted the ball, wanted the opportunity. The 16 against Utah may have broken the ice for him.</p>

But Boki is always streaky, he can be very useful at one night, but the other nights, he would only score 3 or 5 points. You know the Nets are always lack of offensive, so we need him to be that.</font></p>

Boki can't be a leader in our team if he doesn't improve defensively.He can't set good standards of play for teammates if he doesn't do the little things to win.</p>
