Is espn horrible at this time of year?

All they show is baseball, today they showed the Angels play the red sox and then replayed it again. SC is on from 2 to 10. Man, why can't the nba start again.
 
Yeah I know what you mean. I dont watch ESPN anymore. Just gotta wait til the season stars again. Although even in NBA season I dont watch it much haha. I only watch the rockets' games on nba league pass.
 
I hate seeing MLB and NHL highlights on ESPN or TSN. Bores me to death. Here in Canada, If Hockey is on I have to wait so long for some NBA highlights/news. I hate HOCKEY!
 
well there's no other sports...would you rather they show poker or darts all day?
 
I hate when MLB rolls around. They start getting retarded plays on the top ten plays. Like a home run, home runs happen all of the time, unless it went really far there is no point in a home run being top five in my opinion. Some catches are pretty cool, but that is about it. It drives me crazy.The games are boring too in my opinion. I can't stand watching ESPN around this time. I still do though. But I just lost my cable a couple of days ago for the summer. :(If you haven't noticed, I am not the biggest baseball fan.

Yeah, I love baseball, but it gets pretty absurd. Seems like half of the coverage is on the new sausage in the sausage race in Milwaukee.
 
ESPN is always horrible.They show baseball all day. GOLF, TENNIS instead of MMA. They even show Boxing, but barely show MMA. Football and Basketball is rarely on nowadays. They NEVER show soccer.

I hate ESPN as well but really is there anything interesting in sports right now? I guess I wish they would show some tennis highlights.

I sort of like the Great Outdoor Games. I wish they'd have that on and take away darts, poker, spelling bee, scrabble, arm wrestling, w/e... Show some real sports. Maybe they could put on some soccer too.
 
Well it is a sports network. They show sports. I watch it year round, I like the MLB, NFL, NCAAF, NCAAB, and NBA.
 
Yay! People who feels the same way. I don't watch espn that much either. Everytime I go watch it, it's always baseball. I'm not a baseball fan that much. Sometimes I watch it because nothing's on. I really watch espn for NBA stuff.
 
UFC President Dana White is hoping for the UFC to be covered on ESPN, in the future. He has been in some interviews on ESPN, same with some of his fighters, every once in a while.
 
well of course ESPN is going to be boring to guys that dont like MLB. I personally cant stand watching it. lol
 
ESPN is just football and f*cking poker all year. what the F*ck do we care about football in july? and i dont see how ANYONE can stand poker. ESPN is crap.
 
If you haven't noticed yet, any 24-hour sports channel is going to have a lot of repeats and/or boring shows (or, worse, repeats of the boring shows). The effect is multiplied at about this time, when almost nothing is going on. The NBA, NCAA, and NFL are over, the World Cup and Wimbledon are over, so there's basically nothing to watch. Add to that the fact that there are TWO ESPN channels, and you have a lot of unpopular things.
 
I still watch ESPN being i watch baseball. And im never home to watch the yankees play so i watch ESPN. Keeping a eye on Ny boston whitesoxs and tigers
 
why dont they replay REAL classic games instead of poker. i dont wanna see some fat sh*t shuffling cards looking at a guy with a ronald reagan mask to cover up the fact that not only is he ugly, but he's BSing.

LMAO this topic reminds me..in the movie "Dodgeball" do you guys remember the channel the games are televised on ESPN the OCHO lol I think that it's an actual channel although I don't get it.
