Each major election cycle, it seems more people register as an independent. In this link, they look like they've become the new majority. Maybe there should be another "primary" to decide for a third candidate in the general election.

Not if we change to IRV voting. And I know for a FACT that the Democrats do NOT want this. Jefferson Smith himself told me he was against it.

Oh, I'm well aware. I've basically posted the same several times in the past. But they ignore the scenarios where it could be beneficial.

My wife blamed me for Merkley winning the senate seat over Gordon Smith because I and about 92.5K other conservatives voted for Brownlow in 2008. Had IRV been in place, Smith almost certainly would have won.

I'm glad he didn't. Hiring Illegals to work at your factory should disqualify you. Smith was a piece of crap.
