His numbers are way down and his team has a losing record. Everyone falls from the top spot eventually. Players like Anthony Davis and Damian Lillard have gone ahead of him statistically and they're winning. Thoughts? Is he still the best?

Yes... Did you see how well Houston is playing since you posted your jinx thread?

Anyone have an actual argument one way or another about this?

Easily. He is working out the kinks of his team and he is obviously frustrated with the results so far.

Shouldn't he be leading theM? Most people thought LeBron was the favorite for MVP this year because they assumed Cleveland would rise to the top of the East but in fact, they are now 5-7 and not even in the top 8 in the EAST. This is DIFFERENT than the Heat. Riley is a winner, Spolestra and Bosh had been to the playoffs. Wade had won a championship.

Irving and Love have never won before. Marion and Varejao have but apparently, that's not enough. Bring in Ray Allen?

EDIT: since Orlando and Indiana lost, Cleveland is still in top 8.

Did you seriously expect them to come out and destroy their competition right away?

I expected better than 5-7. The Celtics (when KG and Ray joined) started their first season 8-0. Cleveland has three All Stars. Usually teams with a lot of talent win at least half their games.

I'm actually rooting for Dallas and come back to win the game, but this Jinxspeed shit has to go. It's like you intentionally do it too.

I just ask questions and post what I think. I have no jinx power. Don't you remember last year? I'm ClutchSpeed.

Well, they are starting over with two new all-stars from different teams and a new Eurpoean coach.

Last season you were, but you went about it with humility. This Arrogancespeed can take away any good mojo

really? mike brown? might as well just call lebron the player/coach.

Mike Brown took Cleveland to Finals and two 60+ win seasons. Also, in retrospect, he was a pretty decent coach for the Lakers. And you're right, LeBron is basically player/coach. Not sure if that's working though.

mike brown was good because of lebron james, not because he was a good coach.

brown got fired 6 games or so into one of the lakers season. he's not a good coach.

They fired him too soon. Brown took Lakers two second round in his first season with Lakers. And if Brown is good because of LeBron, why isn't Blatt good because of LeBron?

They fired him, period.

because blatt has had all of 12 games for lebron to groom him. It took a season for brown to become Lebron's puppet.

I agree, Also Baseball is the only sport where you can look at stats and say this guy is better than that guy. I think it's great that Lebron isn't concerned with his stats.

Wasn't a smart firing. Especially when you look at whom they replaced him with.

I"ve always thought he was really over-rated. Anyway, individual play is over-rated these days, it's about how well your team is run.
