The Giants are hurting in the secondary and may need to rely on some of their offensive players for help, including (possibly) Odell Beckham Jr.
Would the Giants actually use Beckham on defense against the Vikings? Probably not. The only realistic situation would be on Hail Mary coverage. Teams will often put their big receivers in the end zone to defend the desperation pass, like when Randy Moss intercepted a pass with the Patriots.
