I got my DNA ancestry test results and I'm apparently almost half Vietnamese, quarter French, part Filipino, and a tiny bit Chinese (which is not at all surprising). Also found out I have a distant Filipino cousin around somewhere in the U.S. Funny, because as far as I know, only my grandma on my dad side came to the U.S. from the Philippines. My dad was her only child.

Only a half block from my house a tavern is the center point of the Twp. St Patrick's day parade. In fact, the Nottingham Tavern had been visited by George Washington. I moved into my Victorian in 1998 and attended all of the parades. It's really popular. I remember last year it was canceled due to the Covid 19 plague. I miss that. You could watch people obliterate themselves and enjoy that as part of the parade festivities.
