The Beatles blow.
I'm not a huge Beatles fan, but I exaggerate for effect.
I figured as much. I like The Beatles post-discovery of drugs. Their work prior doesn't do much for me.I'm not a huge Beatles fan, but I exaggerate for effect.
The Beatles are as if One Direction managed to morph into Radiohead over the course of about 7 years.
To be fair, that's VERY impressive. I can't even play a guitar with my hands!(look at the amount of hits for the girls on Youtube who play guitar with the big tits.)

By that point he was a leper messiah and the kids had killed the man.Beatles were great until Gregg married Cher and she broke up the band.

The first isn't the best. How can you overrate the best ever?
Great story. You were 12 in '66. The old Capitol label was stamped on the vinyl and the record was actually heavy as you pulled the record out of it's jacket. I can actually remember at this moment the smell of the Magnavox Stereo Wood counsel bulbs heat and singe dust off. The entire album was mind tested by my friends and I many times. The benefit of Mr. Kite is nuts! "Beatles 65" is one of my favoritesI remember buying this in the local furniture store when it came out with my jar of coins....all records were sold in furniture stores then because record players were coffee tables....you had a choice between the mono version or the stereo version.....I listened to it a million times but later on in retrospect if I put on a Beatles album from my collection, it's always Revolver ....my personal favorite Beatles album of all time. I was 12 when this one came out......
It always bothered me that he said "somersets" instead of somersaults, but I guess that was the old fashioned term and he was just reading it off the poster he owned. The benefit of Mr. Kite is nuts!
man I'm old.....I've never heard one song of either of those bands.....to me the New Zealand band Crowded House took over the Beatles approach to pop music ..I hear a lot of influences in Beatles songs...John Lennon said they'd go in the studio and and imitate bands....let's be the Beach Boys today...they recorded back in the USSR...let's be Fleetwood Mac today...crank up the reverb....let's be Carl Perkins today....let Ringo sing...let's be Cole Porter.....Paul can bring his clarinetThe Beatles are as if One Direction managed to morph into Radiohead over the course of about 7 years.
Helter Skelter was them trying to out -Who The Who.man I'm old.....I've never heard one song of either of those bands.....to me the New Zealand band Crowded House took over the Beatles approach to pop music ..I hear a lot of influences in Beatles songs...John Lennon said they'd go in the studio and and imitate bands....let's be the Beach Boys today...they recorded back in the USSR...let's be Fleetwood Mac today...crank up the reverb....let's be Carl Perkins today....let Ringo sing...let's be Cole Porter.....Paul can bring his clarinet
When you think about it, The Who were a harmony band. Great singing octaves. Helter Skelter is an anomaly in music. It stood completely as a song dedicated to mental disturbance. Tried and tested by Manson and his followers Tex, Squeeky and the other girl.Helter Skelter was them trying to out -Who The Who.
