that actually would be interesting to see what would happen. Kind of like the little ice age that many believe helped the Colonialists during the Revolutionary war (if my history is right).

I think if the oceans all froze, the planet would die. We need the ocean conveyor belt to work, and a frozen ocean(s) would kill that, and in the end, kill us.

Maybe it was a lucky guess, but she was correct, although I'd assume that someone who grew up in Alaska, and became governor of Alaska, would know more about the state than Tina Fey and the mindless voters who believed the "I can see Russia from my house!" joke. Sad to say, my own mother was one of those who believed the Tina Fey stuff until I Snoped it for her.
