RadarOnline is reporting that three-time Academy Award winning actor Jack Nicholson, 76, has retired from acting, citing difficulty memorizing dialogue as the reason. The late Marlon Brando had similar issues in the twilight of his career. Sad news if true.

Sucks if true. Very sad news. Certainly one of my favorite actors of all-time. An icon in his industry.

Manasquan High School's most famous graduate. Love the actor, hate the choice of NBA teams.

Fuck all L*ker fans. Sad he's going into dementia, he was a big time druggie though.

He was a brilliant actor and writer.

I can't think of a bad movie he was in.

In the batman movie, he played the Joker. I thought he was so good, they should have named the movie, "The Joker." He was outstanding in Cuckoo's Nest and terms of Endearment. Easy Rider, a Few Good Men, Chinatown, the Shining, and lots more to his credit.

DeNiro and Eastwood were better, but not by much. And Christopher Lloyd is seriously underrated.

Nicholson was more selective, thankfully, than his peers like DeNiro and Pacino. That generation (with Redford, Hoffman, Beatty, Duvall, Newman, etc.) is starting to fade out.

NBC's Maria Shriver has confirmed to E! News that reports of Nicholson retiring from acting due to memory loss or dementia are 100 percent false, adding that the Chinatown star is not suffering from any memory-related illness or dementia and has no current plans to retire.
In fact, a source close to the movie icon says Nicholson is actively reading scripts and is looking forward to his next project.
Can you handle the truth?

^ That's good! They said he dropped out of 'Nebraska' but it could've been that he changed his mind.

I've dealt with Radar Online in the past, they are one of the least reliable news sources and their reporters are really bottom of the barrel and unprofessional. They are total scumbags.

I guess he must have forgotten he made such a pronouncement.
