I said it before the draft that i thought they should take Byfield, not only because he's pretty much as good a player but positionally it was something they needed badly in the system. They have Othmann coming at the same position as Laf too. I don't think it's out of the realm they trade Lafreniere within another 2y and try adding to the C depth.

Use Lafreniere properly and you will see results. As I said before. Kakko has played 7 games with more than 18 minutes of ice time, he has 6 points. Lafreniere is playing a little over 13 minutes which is a joke and shows you why this incompetent organization has 1 cup in 82 years. All these other top prospects when they stick around 20 games start getting 18+ of ice time and first PP time.
