Pierre Jackson scored an NBA Development League record 58 points Tuesday night in Idaho's 136-122 victory over the Texas Legends.
Both teams started the game shooting above 50 percent from the floor. After trading buckets throughout the first quarter, the Stampede took a 38-35 lead into the second period, paced by Kevin Murphy's 16 points and Jackson's 11. Texas used a balanced offense to keep pace with Idaho during the second quarter and trailed 66-62 at the half. Texas guard PJ Hairston led the Legends with 11 points after two quarters.

The Stampede pushed their lead to double digits in the third quarter by shooting 64 percent while Texas shot 40 percent. Although Hairston kept Texas in the game with 12 points in the third period, Murphy and Jackson countered with 11 points each as the Stampede led 103-89 heading into the fourth.

Legends guard and Dallas Mavericks assignment Ricky Ledo scored 17 points in the fourth quarter and brought the deficit down to nine points with 1:38 remaining in the game. Jackson answered with 7 straight points to help Idaho clinch the 136-122 victory.

Jackson shot 72 percent (24-33) from the field including 7-13 from beyond the arc. He also added eight assists and six rebounds. Kevin Murphy posted 39 points, seven rebounds and five assists in the winning effort. Dee Bost dished out 16 assists for his third consecutive game with 10 or more assists.

The Legends were led by PJ Hairston with 25 points while shooting 4-7 from the 3-point line. Ricky Ledo added 24 points, eight rebounds and seven assists while on assignment from the Dallas Mavericks. Mickey McConnell recorded 13 points and nine assists for Texas.

The Idaho Stampede (16-12) travel to Reno on February 7 to start a four game road trip. The Texas Legends (15-14) visit the Bakersfield Jam on Friday for their next game.
