He's bashed on here a lot but I really like Crawford. i love his humble killer personality on the court. He did a great job of running the point last night. And I'm starting to notice he can get to the rim at will. He should look to finish there and not always pass.

As for Felton, he worked with his shooting coach and it paid off. He shot great the last two games. I like the direction this team is heading with our new starting backcourt.

Go Blazers.

P.S. If you want to bitch, do it in another thread.

I think what I appreciate the most about Failton & Crawful is that we have learned that the Blazer brain trust has little to no ability to evaluate talent. Because those two clowns are terrible players and were carefully selected to play pivotal roles for the team and have been as horrific failures as any in the history of the team- and I've been a fan since day 1 of the franchise.

So because of their shitty play and innate ability to lose games for us we now know we need new scouts, better decision making in the front office (to include PA) and a real GM- so that's a positive about their play and what I appreciate about them.

I appreciate that neither one of them make the Blazers a better team, which improves our draft pick. Which in the end is the best way to improve our team.

They both played great last night. I'll appreciate them if they can start doing it consistently.

LMAO, well said and a big +1!

I appreciate that they played very well against scrubs last night. Could've mailed it in, but they went strong.

I appreciate that you've no say in the Blazer's roster

Felton and Crawford both appreciate that KS can't make it to every game. :ghoti:

Dang. I loved it when this thread had 40 views and no posts. Why'd you guys have to go and ruin it?

I can't think of a Blazer player who has received more criticism, yet has a 17 PER (primarily off of the bench), than Crawford.

I appreciate just how bad a D-league team would look if they had to play a full NBA roster every night.

I though they both played very well last night. I'm hoping that the new lineup will get Crawford more into the distributor role and away from his past image of being the closer. That wasn't working so well. I'm also hopeful that Felton will be able to channel whatever emotions he's feeling at having been demoted into playing at a better level. Something approaching even his career averages would be a marked improvement. If those things happen as a result of this move, then the Blazers will be a much more successful team the rest of the way.

Well we know what SA looks like without their big 3.

Maybe the Blazers without 2 of their big 3, really aren't doing that badly. Crawford and Felton do not come close to making up for missing Roy, but they do help (from time to time).

All Bitches know how to do is Bitch. This place is turning into OregonLive. And now I'm bitching about that, Bitches.

And I assert the times will be more often as the season goes on and Nate finally figures out how to execute with this squad.

Crawford's been fine. He's shooting less efficiently than in years past, but creating for others much more without turning the ball over more.

Crawford hasn't been a failure like Felton, and I appreciate Crawford for that.

I appreciate Jamal Crawford much more starting and running the point than finishing and running the Roy ISO.

I appreciate that Raymond Felton is no longer our strating PG.

Is the OP for real? The only thing we should appreciate them for, is showing us that we need to draft/pick up a point guard and start E.Will.

Yes because the people in charge now have done such a bang up job :D

considering all the injuries and that they're still in the mix, yes they have.

You point to your expertise from coaching a grade school girls team, but really you're just a prolific whiner dumping the same BS in thread after thread even when the OP specifically says keep that shit out

Wonder where the calling out of all the other posters are with there posts in the same thread.

Jamal and Ray are real people and I tried to acknowledge them with this thread and then you all shit all over them like they ruined your life somehow. Please. Get a grip, guys.

Honestly, I think you made a mistake linking Crawford and Felton together.

Crawford is struggling, but he is also doing some good things. (eg he appears to be be really trying to embrace the role of PG) He was also a FA who didn't cost the team anything but $$.

We actually had to give up something of value for Felton - and he is playing so bad you have to wonder if he is intentionally sandbagging us.

OK. I've said many times that I thought Crawford has the ability to handle the ball, to deliver the ball to players where they can to something with it, to shoot when open and to get off a flaming bag of crap shot against the shot clock in an emergency. My problem with him is how Nate uses him, and how he goes berserk and starts calling his own number like he's OCD. So...if he focuses on being a point guard and facilitates for his teammates, and ignores Nate screaming for him to be our primary (ONLY) scorer, that's fine. In the last game, he even addressed what had been a huge problem: He was passing the ball to Batum freely from the opening tip and throughout the game. (I seriously wonder if he reads what we write about him?) All I can do is hope all that continues.

RE Felton: He isn't really this bad, right? The second half of the season will tell. I said the other day I was feeling optimistic the break could help him get his legs under him -- and he started shooting better the day they reported his shooting coach came to town to help him out. Fingers crossed. He seems to be playing more relaxed, which is good for his shot. Even if we manage to get a better PG (unlikely), he would be pretty good off the bench if he keeps this up.

There you go Eric. Better? :)
