Jerome James doesn't seem to fit too well into Mike D'Antoni's team, though to be fair, it's easy to wonder where the 7-1, 300-plus-pound James fits.
The 32-year-old still wants to play, though, and that means he could take up a roster spot that D'Antoni and team president Donnie Walsh would rather use on a younger guy such as Patrick Ewing Jr.
"I've been a role player no matter where I've been. Some guys are stars, some are fillers," James said. "I'm a filler. I still think I can play, whether it's here or anywhere."
Newsday
