Probably some assistants they are interested in from those teams. My guess is Chauncey Billups and Kenny Atkinson from the Clippers assistant coaches are the main targets from those two teams.

Spoelstra won’t happen, get real, we are Blazer fans. Billups would be the best we could hope for. I would be ecstatic with Billups.
 
I've been saying Spoelstra for the past week. It makes so much sense if Spoelstra wants to come home. Not sure Miami will fire him, but I think Pat would let him out if Spoelstra wanted to leave.

Yeah exactly. I mean his wife is an ex Heat cheerleader. He seems pretty entrenched there.
 
I listened. The most noteworthy thing was how dame started doubting Stotts this season and also how players in the past would get annoyed that Terry didn’t hold certain players accountable (cough CJ cough)

Pretty much confirming most our (at least mine) doubts.

What I got from it is that Chauncey Billups seems to be the number one target as a coach unless Spoelstra is available...Spoelstra would be the overall first choice ..some rumor to the effect that Spoelstra and Butler don't get along. No mention of Jason Kidd rumors in Quick's camp at all....Joerger is second from the bench ranks and coach Bud would be the next choice behind Spoel. Spoelstra is hands down my first choice and Chauncey would be my second. Both guys are two way coaches...Chauncey knows team defense as well as any floor general with a championship ring

Wow great news!! My dream is coming true! I told you guys for how long now this team the way it was built and coach wasn’t it!!

I’m glad Blazers are making me happy again!

Now the guy I want is Chauncey Billups. Former all star point guard with a championship ring to show as a lead starting guard. Amazing news if we get him!
 
Wasn’t spoelstra born here or play ball here or something? I know he started with the Blazers.
 
Maybe it’s time to call home the Oregon boys. Ainge and Spoelstra.
