Jay Williams May Yet Join the Nets…in the Booth

Jay Williams admits he has a hard time leaving the game behind, five years after he almost died in a motorcycle accident. So, Dave D’Alessandro reports, Williams is auditioning for the job of Mike Fratello’s backup on the YES Network. Since his Net comeback bid failed in 2006, he’s done television as an analyst for CBS coverage of March Madness, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Wow, I didn't know he was working for CBS. Yay or nay? I never heard him on tv before.

That would be sick. He did some color commentary for ESPN high school games, and he wasn't bad.

Did he attempt to make a comeback in Europe? I'm sure some team could of utilized the skills he has left. It's quite sad how his career ended in the NBA.

hey i love jay williams... and he is also educated... his mother was our assistant vice principle in highschool...
