Was at the Utah game. I'm finally back (to eastern oregon) and awake.
The game was really fun, obviously much better than watching on the internet

Of course it helps when you start the day by talking for a couple of hours with old friends,
then have dinner at the spaghetti factory, go to an important game in which the Blazers
blow out the other team (the game was not as close as the score), and finish the night
by talking about the blazers until 2 a.m.

On Deron - well, he was very, very good that game- but only in a limited kind of way. If Kobe played
like Deron did, he'd get criticized as a ball hog. Deron absolutely did not get his teammates
involved, and he's the PG. Of course, this may be been out of necessity, as his team was down.
However, I felt pretty good about things as the game progressed since I thought Deron would
need to get the other 4 Jazz players involved to really be effective. I was right.
The Brevin Knight kiss (it was discussed on Blazersedge) was pretty funny, and a marriage
proposal during the game was fun too.
The blazer dancers (or whatever they're called) are really, really short. I thought this before the
players came onto the court, even more so afterward!
The jumbotron screen is humongous. Twice I found myself watching the screen instead of the action,
but I realized my seats were pretty good, and I should just watch the action live. Yes, it would
be nice to have a gozillion inch TV!
I remember when the Rose Garden was built that they were going to have more women's restrooms than
mens, but the men's lines were much longer than the women's!! (Of course, the men's line might have
been faster, shrug).
Anyway, very fun game.
