I’m shocked it’s a 5 year deal. But a deal worth an average $32m/year isn’t terrible. I was worried this was going to be a Tobias Harris type of deal. Grant is noticeably better with a starting salary that is $5m less than Tobias’s first year max salary at $32m. The TV deal will make it more tolerable as well.

Five seasons makes his deal expiring in 2027-28. I’m hoping year 5 is a TO.

Maybe shooting like one, but not defending/rebounding like one. For a guy that is long and athletic his lack of interest in rebounding was a deal breaker for me. Shit contract.
