For a moment there, I thought I was watching a Scranton Wilkes/Barre Pitcher in the Bronx ...!

You give Nono a AAA ranking? He needs to be released.

Good point Lion...I hear ya' roar...!

My comment was "tongue in cheek" with lack of attention/focus to detail....(more like a fly by - drive by shooting)...

Indeed, I have seen more talented young guns here in the Minor A CA. Leagues.

I have no prob with a DFA...for Nuno...Yep, AAA was a bit generous a comment, no doubt, thank you...!!! (for bringing it to my attention)....

Who's next at triple a to show their goods up here nuno is unwatchable and will not be watchable anytime soon.

Knowing Joe, I'm going out on a limb & say that he'll actually give Nuno another start. I hope I'm wrong but NOTHING Girardi does surprises me anymore.

He wouldn't be getting these starts if he was a rightie.

He shouldn't be getting starts PERIOD!

Who are you starting then? Warren? Nuno would then be sent down as they wouldn't use him in the pen. Who do you use to fill Warren's pen slot. Provide a viable solution to the issue Girardi faces. I'm sure he'd like all his starters to have era's below 3 too.

Kelley's return to the pen makes it a little more affordable for Warren to start.

Perhaps, but that wasn't aligning with timing for yesterday, obviously. Won't be surprised if they go with that plan B next time around. But by starting Warren there will be a pitch count limit and an impact on the pen. Those factors likely led to the decision to see what Nuno could do one more time. A win on Friday and Tanaka on Sunday also likely weighed into the calculus.

I'm not saying you're wrong Rick, I'm just trying to interject some realism into the decision tree that Joe has to apply.

Thursday is an off day which probably would have been Nuno's next start so for now at least they can afford to wait on any decisions.

...lol, the subject is Girardi and Rick is standing on his nuts...nothing new.

I just figured that if I step on his nuts he won't spend so much time tripping over them.

Can we get an emoticon for "busting balls" or "chain pulling"....but stepping on them, well, that's an entirely different "nocturnal omission"...!!!

Wait, are we talking about Joe-Gerardi, Torre, or Garagiola...? LOL...

"Hey Joe, where ya' going with that gun in your hand"....? doo doo doo doo doo...!
