Plumbers have found a lot of cash and checks in my pipes too....they just come out of my checkbook or bank....first stimulus check for 1200 I had a pipe fixed...the bill...1142
 
That's actually kinda smart. If you have to go on the run, better to have a stash of cash so you can avoid ATMs.
