Joel to the Knicks?

Wilson Chandler would be a neat fit at PF if you move LMA to C.

Przybilla's contribution never depended upon his physical talent, so I don't know why we're so eager to dump him. He'll be as effective on a bum leg.

All he ever did was rebound and provoke fights. I don't know whether he still has the second talent, to make opponents want to kill him, but as for the first talent, since returning, he's averaged 1 rebound every 3 minutes, which is elite rebounding. If he practices beating up assistant coaches, he'll be back to 100%.

"Donnie is going to err on the side of taking his time," another GM told the paper. "He's going to wait for the right deal to come along."

In other words, we aren't doing a darn thing until we figure out what is going on with Carmello.

He also sets a mean pick.

 One of your best posts.

Well there's no way they're getting Marc Gasol, so they can forget about that. I would think moving Joel for the right pieces would be good though. The guy just really doesn't have much left. With that said, I don't know how NY would match Joel's $7 million contract without moving a lot of pieces?

Joel for Randolph and Turiaf works... but that might be too much for them. I don't know.

I don't rep anyone (so they don't rep me), but if I did, I'd rep you. Think of it as a moral victory. You didn't get a present, but it's the thought that counts.

Grumpy old man status?

I used to be expert at getting businesses out of deficits. At Christmas, the bosses called me Scrooge! The employees didn't say nuttin'.

I'll pass along one of my many cheapstake secrets to you. If you want to save up some money, don't run the heat! If you need some more savings, don't eat!

Don't beg for more, I can't give you all the secrets of the realm at one sitting.

I wonder about that. He's still recovering from a serious injury. I think the two or three seasons after this one he may surprise a few people with a better than expected recovery and can still be a valuable reserve player.

Actually the part I thought was funny was on the hoopsworld quote where they said they weren't sure if Pryzbilla fits within their offense. That tells you how much they watch teams from out west. Because if you knew anything about Joel at all, it's that he can't score unless he is given a point blank dunk, and then he might even break out the hands of butter when handling the pass.

yeah.... Joel and offense don't really go together in the same sentence.

Joel was talking openly about the possibility of retirement after this season ... don't hold your breath.

Why don't we cut out the middle man and trade Joel for Gasol? Make it happen Al

The word on the street today is that Memphis wants to keep Gasol and move Randolph.... so I guess we could get Zach back

sleeping under a bridge is cheaper then a mortgage and then you can just jump in the river instead of paying for hot water showering... viola! Money saved!

Eating out of dumpsters is so much cheaper than shopping at super markets.
