JULY 3 NEW YORK YANKEES VS MINNESOTA TWINS GAME THREAD

Welcome to our community

In 14 starts Hughsie(ya think Girardi misses him)LOL..has yielded ONLY 7 HRs.
Against this Yankee lineup, I do not see him giving up any HRs.

That's how disgusting these Yankees are. Imagine losing to Gohper Hughes.

Opposing teams respect Tanaka but are also aware that the Yankees don't score much when he pitches. Tonight I'd like to see the Yankees remind Hughes that his last start against them was the end result of the sun shining on the dogs ass for one day.

2-0 Twins bottom of the fourth. Same old story.

Another powerful offensive onslaught by the Bronx Bombers. As we play catch up.......AGAIN!

There's the Hughes we know and love. 3-2 Yankees on a Beltran three run shot.

Wheeler homers for his first MLB hit. 4-2 Yanks.

...good call.

...same ole story.

Glad to add a couple of homers to the total.

Zealous Wheeler! Beltran? and Gopher Hughsie. Ya can't make this stuff up.
Normalcy is so familiar....%#@!&^%#@

i put on a movie to watch commercials and the yankees are winning?????????

I think Tanaka's arm is tiring. He is nowhere in command of his pitches as in April and May.

...could be...big difference between pitching in Japan and MLB. Days between starts, travel, etc.

Rookie mistake to watch pixelated video with his pitching hand. Crash McCann need to straighten him out.

Did that happen to Darvish, Kuroda, Nomo?

... Darvish, Kuroda ,and Nomo, didn't throw as many pitches as Tanaka did in Japan before coming to America.

...Tanaka has not been blowing people away in the last 2-3 games like he was earlier. It's probably nothing and I'm just spit-balling as I did preface my comment with "could be"...and not ALL Japanese pitchers fared as well as Darvish, Kuroda, and Nomo...several failed and could not make the transition from Japan to MLB. Dice-K, Igawa, Irabu, et al, just to name a few, come to mind.

...plus, like I said, Tanaka has outsmarted himself a few times by shaking off McCann.
