Sure am gonna miss this place. :smiley-sadbye:

In all seriousness, though, one of the things they emphasised was less individual "screen time" (i.e. internet, TV, games, etc.)...replaced with more "face time" between the spouses.

Couldn't hurt.................................I suppose. :)

EDIT: BTW, in case you were wondering....she's sleeping right now.........so I'm currently off the hook. (OK, I'm always "off the hook", but you know what I mean. ;) )

Bros before hoes... don't give in. You'll realize the mistake you've made too late and we'll never see you again :(

Why did you bother with a freakin retreat. All you need is ucatchtrouts "Guide to a Happy Marriage". Its a quick read. One sentence. And its easy to remember.
"Happy wife, happy life."

Is it like one of those sex camps on HBO's real sex? If so I hope you didn't hurt yourself.

In the same vein as ucatchtrout's book....If she ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy.

My secret (married 29 years) is to let her spend all the money.

Did you tell everyone about your online friends in the little "group therapy" sessions?

Please don't tell me you had to pay for this "retreat".

ABM, you are a chump! I was on here during my wedding ceremony! BROS BEFORE HOZ!

Dr. barfo's prescription for 2-day marriage enrichment retreat:

1 hotel room, swanky
4 bottles wine, assorted
1 bottle viagra

ABM, just put a check in the mail to me, thanks.

That's "THE" most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. If that's the case, then you're the chump.......brah.

In fact, I challenge you to go ask your buddies, MB and Rice - even Tone, what their take is on the matter. I'm sure it's a lot closer to mine than it is yours.

You know I'm messing with you. Good for you. Been married 6 years, and the one thing I've learned is that I will never win an argument no matter what.

Now, that's more like it. :)

Foreplay to a guy who talks like that is 30 minutes of begging.

ABM, as you best friend for over 40 years, I did everything I could to talk you out of that idiotic 'retreat'.

Besides, nothing is going to change.

Oh well, you;ll be back here full time within a few weeks. Once the hangover wears off...

Or, I could live your dynamic life.. ;)

So is a "2-Day Marriage Enrichment" what married people do before actually admitting they want a divorce 3 months later?

Sadly, for some of those folks, yes.
