Detroit trades:
SF Tayshaun Prince
PF Antonio McDyess
PG Carlos Arroyo
C Darko Milicic
PG Lindsey Hunter
PG Chauncey Billups
PF Ben Wallace
SG Richard Hamilton
PF Rasheed Wallace
PG Horace Jenkins
SF Ronald Dupree
SG Carlos Delfino

Detroit receives:
PG Stephon Marbury
SG Anfernee Hardaway
SG Allan Houston

TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Detroit and New York being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Detroit and New York had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.</div>

The Knicks can trade Stephon Marbury, Anfernee Hardaway, and Allan Houston for the whole defending champion Detroit Pistons' roster

If this thread gets dumb, and it's just a bunch of negative comments, it's getting locked. We discuss this issue all the time.

Like we didn't know that already...

The Knicks will take a decade to get out of that mess, that is if they actually want to. They seem to love stacking up monster contracts.

Wow. That's just what I wanted to see following my comment. This will just start a bunch of arguments over a topic we all discuss all the time as Knicks fans...in pretty much every thread. That being said, this topic is going to be locked to avoid fights.
