I'm just curious, if a NFL team ever became available could they temporarily play in Autzen for a few years until Portland got its shit together and built a NFL stadium?
Just how good is Autzen stadium & facilities?

Sure, the facilities are nice and good enough. Size? Soldier Field is the smallest NFL venue at 61,500. Several teams play in stadiums that seat less than 65,000.
The last numbers I've seen show Autzen seating (there's usually overflow for games) at 54,800. Autzen would be on the extreme small size and a stretch in distance for the main P-town market, I think.
I don't think Portland would be a top choice for an NFL team. Yes, I understand population wise we compete with other markets - but, there are better alternatives like LA, San Antonio, Columbus.
I'd love to have a pro-team in Portland, but it's wishful thinking.
