I was fortunate enough tonight to have been able to meet Martell and his girlfriend and their new baby.

Somebody asked Martell about helping the lady who was stuck in the snow last winter. His response was so genuinely charming..."she was stuck in the snow". And the way he said it let me know he couldn't conceive any thought of doing anything different.

He is truly a super down to earth regular nice guy.

And the front door to his house is 8 ft. high.

baby girl....asleep on the couch. Mom says she is a great baby and even sleeps at the games.

busy folding freshly laundered baby clothes.

super nice. Just like he is. Down to earth. Looks you straight in the eye in that relaxed friendly way that good people do

Marty has two little ones now doesn't he?

Yep. He has another little girl who is as cute as they come.

Cool stuff. Is she a Portland girl? Seattle?

Did you go threw his underwear drawer?

Where does he live?

Not fair for me to post that.

I will tell you it is not Lake Oswego, or West Linn, or Dunthorpe where a good many of the Blazers live. And I will tell you that the Websters have chosen to live in a neighborhood rather than in a gated off compound, and are clearly people who have their heads screwed on, their hearts in the right place, and an understanding of the things in life that are important that money can't buy.

Translation: Murryhill or Tualatin off the 5. :ghoti:

Murryhill would be kind of close to me. Where the heck is the dunthorpe area?

IF YOU HAVE TO AXE, YOU AIN'T ALLOWED TO DELIVER THUR.

Dunthorpe is by the wilamette kind of in between LO and Portland I think. Alot of the old school blazers used to live down there...not sure now. I'd imagine most live in Tualitin for some reason.

I'm just guessing b/c I saw Webster at Washington Square once.

Sorry guys, it is in a different part of town.

Dunthorpe is down on the river.

I remember Drexler lived in Dunthorpe. Duckworth lived off Cedar Hills Blvd. Kersey lived in LO. Rod Strickland lived on the LO/Portland border (Kruse Ridge area) as did Alla Abdelnabby (my friends lived there and he lived across from Alla and we did a food drive and Strickland answered the door). I believe J-O lived in Forrest Heights. Frye lives in the Pearl.

I remember we used to drive by Duckworth's house all the time and holla at him back in the day.

Actually, Frye lives in the new High-rise dirstrict: South Waterfront.
