Woman 1 has worked at a firm for 8 years, during the course of her tenure she has innovated a new production method which has saved the company 2% in production costs. She recently discovered that her male co worker who had the same education, experience and hire date, negotiated for a 1% higher salary than she did.

Woman 1 is smart. She doesnt feel sorry for herself and put together a sob speech to deliver to her boss about why she should make as much as a man and this isnt fair. No. Woman 1 puts together a presentation proving her new techniques have saved the company 2% in production costs for the last 3 years. If it wasnt for her implementing her strategies the company would have missed out on all these extra profits. She schedules a meeting with her boss and prresents her case. She then asks for a 3 percent raise. A perfectly acceptable amount considering the hundreds of thousands she saved the company. Is the boss likely to grant the raise thus helping her earn more than her male coworker? Id guess so.

Woman 2 however recently found out her male coworker with the same education experience and hire date originally negotiated for 2% hire wages. She sews a pussy hat and goes on a march for womens suffrage. She barges into her bosses office and demands to be treated fairly or she will continue parading her vagina hat in the office for all eternity. Is she likely to get a raise? My guess is she is escorted out the door by security.

In my life time. I have liked Ford, Reagan, and Trump. Of the Democrats, Truman and JFK were ok. Eisenhower has to be in the OK box too. But I am skeptical somewhat of just how competent JFK was. Liberal logic is easy to understand. Doesn't mean you have to agree with it. For the most part, they just want to help people. Most of it is about empathy.

Education
Health care
Social services like food stamps and social security.

Most of what they want is coming from a good place. They want people to have a better life. They want everyone to be treated equally. I don't blame them for wanting these things. The problem that I have with liberal logic is that I don't think it's realistic. Everyone is not always equal. Not everyone should go to college. But we ARE falling behind the rest of the world in k-12 education. Our healthcare system is totally fucked. So I get it. I understand why they want these things. I just think we have to be realistic about how we're going to pay for it.

Gun rights.... I get it, they see people dying from guns and they want to see it stop. But they aren't realistic about what gun control laws will achieve. They aren't being logical.

At the same time, I see too much hate from the GOP. Anti gay politicians. Hatred for immigrants. Trump ran on fear and hatred. That's why I can't support that guy. Period. Hillary ran on being the lesser of two evils, and Trump ran on fear, hate, and disrespect. It's pretty sad what our two party system has come to.
