JVG said DWade is the top 2 or 3 two guards of all time? You agree with that?

The jlprk, in his dignity, does not enjoy repeating his hilarious jokes, grasshopper. He said he's one of the top 3 FLOPS.

MJ, Logo, K***. Not top 2-3.

Go Blazers

If we're talking top guards, not top floppers, there are more that are ahead of Wade:

John Stockton
Magic Johnson
Clyde Drexler
Oscar Robertson
Bob Cousy

Not sure about Reggie and Allen. Reggie was pretty awesome though. 93-95 Miller was my favorite player ever.

Drexler was better than DWade? Maybe on the defensive end of the floor.

Wade is a lot better than Drexler on D (outside of the occasional flop). If Drexler was better then Wade then it would be on O. I think it is close but I think Wade is all-around better. He isn't top 2 or 3 though.

He's not top 2-3, but he's statistically close to West, better than Magic, etc.

I think he deserved serious consideration for MVP several seasons. He's also a better defender than many of the greats.

Fwiw

Neither of whom were 'two guards' in their best years. This conversations is about '2' guards.

Here's a list.

Jordan
Kobe Bryant
Earl Monroe
George Gervin
Clyde Drexler

I'd put Wade in the same category a Monroe/Gervin/Drexler ... so Top 3 isn't out of the realm of debate, IMO.

He's definitely top 200-300 SGs. Mitch Richmond would have him for dinner, and want Rubio for dessert.

The ESPN mod isn't the only person who is insane.

What ever happened to fining players for flopping?
Fining bazillionaires $5K for flopping is a freaking joke. These guys would gladly pay 50 flopping fines if it wins them the championship.

He's certainly one of the playoff greats, regardless of position. His regular season track record is a bit up and down with several injury derailments.

Man, I remember the last time I debated with Voodoo about Wade. I went and looked up his numbers. The guy has had an insane career. I didn't even realize the numbers he was putting up. I think he's definitely top 10, and once you get to that point it's all subjective. MJ is obviously the best shooting guard of all time, but after that it's fair game.

I'd say Kobe is the unquestioned #2
