as they give up yet another first round pick. Morons. Much like the Capitals it's over for them. They need to rebuild.

I don't disagree, but I doubt either team will. They are both in too deep with vets and their medium/long term deals. Pens have Sid, Malkin, and Letang. Caps have OV, Oshie, Backstrom, Kuz, and Carlson. I think both will have new goalies next season, Jarry and Samsonov, and the Caps will have a new coach.

As an FYI, the Pens have no 1st round pick this year or next year. They also have no 2nd round pick this year, and no 3rd or 4th round picks next year. The Caps have no 2nd this year.

The Penguins defenseman group drags them down. Letang is on the downside and Johnson sucks. They are in that 1st/2nd round no-man's land for the next 5y. Their farm is awful.

They will do what they always do when their run is over. Tank on purpose, make no effort to win and their loser fans won't go to games.
