Oregon’s Kate Brown is one of the most unpopular governors in country: Morning Consult survey

Kate Brown has received some very positive national press in the four years since she reached the governor’s office in Oregon. In February 2017, for example, The New Yorker heralded her as “approachably fierce,” quoting an admirer who called her “a combination of Snoopy and Katniss Everdeen” -- the latter, in case you didn’t know, being the heroine in “The Hunger Games.”

Such encomiums haven’t helped her popularity in her home state, though. In fact, according to Morning Consult’s quarterly governor approval rankings, Brown is presently one of the least popular governors in the country, landing at number 47 out of 50.

This might surprise you if you’re a Democrat living in the Democratic stronghold of Multnomah County. But Oregon is a big state. And in this big state, Republicans really, really don’t like her. Independents aren’t so hot on her either.

Her net approval, according to the polling company, is +58 among Democrats. But this is more than offset by her -73 rating among Republicans and -12 among independents.

I still don't know who she is. I keep seeing a picture of a librarian with that name by it. Still trade Sisocrack for her without a second thought.....

ranking 47 out of 50 is not 'most'

She's term limited, so I don't know that it matters too much how much anyone does or doesn't like her

barfo

Kind of a moot point since she's not running for reelection. How about if we concern ourselves with the popularity of those we can still vote for or against.
Maybe you would prefer that she take back her appointment of Secretary of State Bev Clarno, a Republican, since she's so awful. Secretary of State is our second highest ranking officer and this must be a God awful appointment.

I just saw the article man. Don’t shoot the messenger!

What would you hurt him for? Your initial bid is "more than all the tea in China."
That's not enough.
I'll tell you what, there are planets out there that are made out of 100% diamonds. Drag one of those back here and we'll talk.

That would just crash the diamond market, man.
