If you actually knew anything about him you would realize that he is a very well respected and highly thought of as conservative and honest person. Educate yourself before just automatically bashing someone.

Oh I don't know! I went to a company picnic with my wife once. I was often referred to as Jeanie's husband by her associates.

I don't know why that would be an issue, or anything. Are you not her husband? seems like nothing to be ashamed of or use as in a derisive manner. I don't get why maris thinks this is an issue.
