But seriously, though, I hated the guy for so long, but he'd be perfect as a backup PF/C for us for the minimum. We wouldn't face such a gaping hole in the middle if Camby got injured (knock on wood) or were on the bench.

I believe we still have the BAE, but its only for about $2 million. But we could give him a 2 year deal for $4 million with a player opt out.

Ya know, now that I actually think about it; his salary will be prorated for NBA regular season games played, so if he isn't able to sign until March he probably doesn't care at all about this years salary since it'll be so tiny. He'd be an amazing addition for us as a backup PF.
