Secondly, I had made several comments in the past about how Martin was shaky and did not deserve his contract... but for all I've been here, I don't remember you as a consistent Nets fan. Must be one of those bandwagon people.

So just because it was written in a NJ paper, it relates to the Nets?

I think that it does relate to the Nets. They could have resigned Martin without getting the draft picks. If they had done that, then I think that things would be different right now. The Nets would have have been in as bad a situation as Martin would have put them in had things played out with him as they are playing out with the Nuggets right now.

We tend to follow the descisions that a team made, but we seldom follow the descision a team could have made. I think that one would be a Nets-hater to think that what is going on with Martin is not related. It really makes me feel good that the Martin "give-away" was a positive move.

Let's see what will happen with Shareef next season

I wouldnt call that last post an "attack" he brings up a valid point..

furthermore, I think you're missing the point...if the story was relevant to the nets enough to be printed in a new jersey newspaper...maybe its relevant enough to make its way into the jbb nets forum. this isnt exactly the "be all and end all" of nets media...why do you care if the article finds its way in here. other members seem to appreciate it just fine.

and if you're so concerned with nets relevant contributions to the forum...why dont you post something news worthy, or start some kind of discussion?

What valid point? He called me a "bandwagon" fan, and not that I care what he says, but its funny how he brings that in, out of nowhere.

And I am not concerned that its posted here. I said he doesn't play for the team. I don't care if its in here, it just has nothing to do with the Nets.

Its printed in a NJ paper because they have NBA writers. The title of the article is "Knicks look to make trade as deadline dooms." That has nothing to do with the Nets, its an NBA article.

Had not Kenyon killed the Knicks in the playoffs, you know, Isiah's first year with the Knicks, then Isiah wouldn't be looking at Kenyon. It all starts back with the Nets.

What exactly are you gaining from this? Kenyon Martin was a Net, correct? NOw that he isn't, am I not allowed to follow the rest of his career? Do I have to stop being a fan? I'm not the only person in this thread that cared about Kenyon. Is that so hard to comprehend?

Kenyon was a Net and a recognized player in New Jersey. One of the fan favorites, an NJ paper would print it beacause there are plenty of readers here who would be interested ie. me, my collegues, etc. I don't think there is any other state except Denver and New York (which basically has bandwagon Nets fans now that the Knicks suck) that would care as much about it.

Just let it go. I apologize for claiming you as a bandwagon fan, but you're taking this too far and too off topic. If you're so concerned about New Jersey Nets topics, quit deviating from it in this topic.
