You just gotta know how to use the brushes. If I were you I wouldn't make the whole bg out of brushingDon't worry you're getting there. Make sure the text is better though. Go for just a simple text next time.

Backgrounds shouldnt be made with all brushes. Try stocks and little patterns. Use soft brushes too, and shapes. and blend them together and yep.

Good point @ MardyCTry to use c4ds instead of brushes, or shapes. Or just stocks. Try to combine them. Also, choose other colors please by applying adjustment layers.

I only use soft brushes for lighting and stuff like that. or I'll use splatter brushes for displacement effects, but thats more complicated then where you're at right now.
