Clippers have a ton of cap space.I think it’s between 4 teams rn.
Knicks, Clippers, Nets, and Warriors.
Just think... He could completely spin the whole leaving OKC for the team that beat him by going to the team he just beat.I don't think the Nets are a very likely destination--IMO, if he goes to New York, the Knicks are the team he'll choose. I agree with the Clippers and, obviously, the Warriors as the other likeliest options.
That's the word on the street.KD, Kyrie, and #1 pick Zion gonna be a Knick next year. Just seems like what the NBA would love to happen
How long has it been since the Knicks haven't sucked?
It might be refreshing for them to be decent.
Which really kinda breaks the theory that the NBA is all about their big market teams. The team in the largest market haven't been good during the entirety of the 21st century!Patrick ewing days

Melo wanted to be traded to either the Knicks or the Nets because his wife worked out there. He didn't go there as a free agent though. The year they had a ton of cap space (the LeBron taking his talents to South Beach summer) they ended up with a broken down Amare Stoudemire. They had cap space in 2016 too and only managed to get Courtney Lee and Joakim Noah. But they still attracted stars.
Well melo. Is that it? I guess you are right. Other than melo, i cant think of any name that has wanted to go or re-sign there.
This might be in part, to piss poor management though. They have had a checkered last two decades with the dealings of Oakley and stuff.
Im not sure anyone wants to go there.
When people say big market teams, i think it used to be for media.
Now its for lifestyle and its morphed into bigmarket/good weather destinations.
Miami. Houston. Dallas. Californias.
I think the banana boat shit did a lot to the league. Stars like to have fun in the sun in the off season. They might as well try to do it during the season too it seems.
I thought he wanted NY because he was from NY? I think the Knicks failure is mostly bad management and lets face it some bad luck too.Melo wanted to be traded to either the Knicks or the Nets because his wife worked out there. I believe in 2012 or 2013, the Knicks made it to the second round. The last time there was a real buzz about them in NYC was 1999 though with Sprewell and Allan Houston taking them to NBA Finals. How long has it been since the Knicks haven't sucked?

A waste of his talents in a town that never sleeps. Knicks suck because they are cursed by horrible management. I would rather see him play in Brooklyn (playoff team).https://www-cbssports-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.cbssports.com/nba/news/kevin-durant-free-agency-rumors-former-current-teammates-expect-warriors-star-to-sign-with-knicks-this-summer/amp/?amp_js_v=a2&_gsa=1#referrer=https://www.google.com&_tf=From %1$s&share=https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/kevin-durant-free-agency-rumors-former-current-teammates-expect-warriors-star-to-sign-with-knicks-this-summer/
Kevin Durant free agency rumors: Former, current teammates expect Warriors star to sign with Knicks this summer
Does anyone really doubt he will go to the Knicks anymore?
Kawhi to Clippers, KD to Knicks seems a foregone conclusion.
Yes, please, keep praying for KD. Your prayers are EVER so important, and KD of all people needs prayers more than anybody.
