Pretty homerish. I'm frankly interested to see how Nurkic's clearly better physical shape impacts his play. I have zero faith in MyLe, but also don't see us missing Crabbe as much as the national analysts think we will.

They aren't shoeing anymore games. I refuse to read their article.

Small sample size against some pretty shitty teams, but the defensive ratings are impressive. They will go up during the regular season, but at least they are trending in the right direction.

Dame and C.J. seem to be expending more effort on the defensive end, and it helps that they have rim protectors like Nurk and Collins behind them.

Evan Turner seems to be figuring out what he can do to help this team. He's not going to magically become a great 3-point shooter (don't try to be Allen Crabbe, be the best Evan Turner you can be). His shot selection has been much better, and if he continues to play hard on the defensive end, he can guard the opponent's best perimeter player, allowing Stotts to hide one of Dame or C.J. on the other team's worst offensive player (the way Phoenix used to use Grant Hill to hide Steve Nash's defensive deficiencies).

BNM

I don't take anything much away from what I've seen in the pre-season, but for one thing: At least they haven't looked like shit. That would be pretty concerning.

You haven't been watching? He's much quicker than last year. He's still just as strong. He looks amazing.

He needs to finish a little better on his shots but he has a couple of completely new moves out of the post from both blocks.
