No secret how bad this Yankee offense was this year but a closer look reveals a glaring weak spot- the Yanks sucked vs RHP.
They were 14th in both runs scored and BA vs RHP-
However, they were quite respectable vs LHP, 4th in runs and 7th in BA
Beltran and Tex (switch hitters) were probably the biggest reasons for it.
One had injury problems and the other stunk up the place.
