Kidd Likely to Start, Carter Likely to Rest
January 24, 2008, 5:21 pm The NBA will announce the starters for next month’s All-Star Game Thursday night. Remarkably, it will likely be the first time Jason Kidd is voted as a starter since joining the Nets. And when the reserves are announced next week, Vince Carter will likely learn that he’ll be getting a few days of rest for the first time since he came into the league.

Neither one of them deserves to be an All-Star this year.

When have all the All-Star starters deserved to go? It is a popularity contest.

Of course, since all Ratner cares about it having players that will sell luxury boxes and tickets, the popularity vote should be eye opening to him.

I like that. IMO Tmac hasn't deserved it the past couple years. AI deserves to go and is okay to start. Stevie deserves to start, but Tmac...no.
