Among Kidd's teammates are the two players who will be the top two picks in the draft: Greg Oden and Kevin Durant. Also on board this year for the first time: the Pistons' Tayshaun Prince and the Hornets' Tyson Chandler. The team will play in the Americas Tournament in August.

I think if Kidd feels that he is healthy and rested enough, he should go for the team. I just hope he comes to training camp at 100 percent.

I think Kevin Durant is going to absolutely DOMINATE international competition. Just wait and see.

Kidd is obviously a big plus for TEAMUSA, but I'm not sure he can play in the summer after playing nearly 100 games in the season and still return at anything close to 100% to training camp. But who knows, it IS Kidd, after all, and his age doesn't seem to affect him too much.

It's great for Team USA to add some veterns and not all young guys, so they can help out guys like Durant and Oden.
