Courtesy of NetsDaily: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>All-Star starters will be named on Jan. 24 and the NBA announced the final update Thursday afternoon. Jason Kidd (second among Eastern Conference guards) is still in line to start, and now holds a lead of more than 134,000 votes over Ray Allen. Vince Carter remains fourth among East guards and Richard Jefferson is still not listed among the top 10 forwards in voting. Last year, Carter was second in the final update, but was then passed by Gilbert Arenas in the final week of voting.</div>

Hm. I'd say there might be too many players ahead of RJ for him to get on the team. And IMO, I think now, Kidd is deserving of the All-Star berth, over Ray Allen.

As long as Nets player goes and represents I don' care. I hope RJ gets in though.

SWAT for slam dunk and rookie-soph game?

rookies, Durant, Horford, Yi, Brewer, in. Jeff Green, Jamario Moon, Law, Conley??

The 4th is the final ballot, Kidd is a starter.

their is still time to vote, its the final updates before they announce it, prob on TNT

Who cares if RJ isn't in the top 10. He doesn't belong on the All-Star team anyway.

Sean Williams should take part in the rookie game, isn't he ranked 4th or 5th among Rookies? Or at least top 7...

And yeah, I'm definitely one of the ones who still thinks he should be in the dunk contest- if only for national publicity and stuff like that.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Kidd is still second behind Wade in the guard ballot, according to the latest returns. If this stuff matters to you, here are the dates you want to keep an eye on:

Sean williams would be great in the rookie game, I can't wait to see it.

Williams will shine in it, it's usually a dunk fest in the rookie-soph game.

If Sean was in the dunk contest, who would his passer be?
Kidd because he's one of the best passers of all time....
or Carter for the dunk contest prestige....

Or maybe they could be really imaginative and somehow include both?

Well, Kidd's definitely gonna be there for the All-Star game. That'd make sense to me.
