Oregon linebacker Kiko Alonso pleaded guilty Friday to a criminal mischief charge following an arrest early last Sunday after he broke into a stranger's home, according to KVAL in Eugene.

Alonso also agreed to enter a diversion program on one count of criminal trespass. A felony burglary charge was dropped.

Alonso, who was arrested last offseason on DUII charges and suspended from the team, also was sentenced Friday to two years' probation and 200 hours of community service.

According to KVAL, one of the terms of Alonso's probation is that he cannot possess alcohol. He did not face any alcohol-related charge in connection with the break-in...

nope, but expect Chip to rule on his future with the team soon

I'm guessing he's gone at least for the year which would mean they'll probably be playing true freshman in his place

I'd say boot the guy. After the DUI and now this, he should be gone.
