I'm hearing Houston has offered McDaniels the MLE but that he has a serious off re from one other team. Are we that team?

How much cap space do the Lakers have. I heard they liked him early on. I think we already have our 2 SF's who play good D but can't shoot.

Could be.
Haven't seen him play but he got some good press last year and I can see how he fits Neil's plan.

McDaniels seems a bit too much like Aminu and Harkless. If we're going to make an offer on a RFA, I say Tristan Thompson.

He's a RFA. An "offer" would be an offer sheet, that he would sign, and Houston would then match, like with Kanter. This makes no sense.

You have to think that at some point a GM starts to feel silly going round signing RFAs to sheets only to wait 3 days to have their team match them.

Wouldn't that depend on whether or Houston could match? They are only offering him the MLE. Can they afford more?

I don't know, but clearly no other team has actually made him a better offer, or he would've signed it.

Not necessarily. He certainly hasn't signed with Houston. Why? The Josh Smith signing just happened. Maybe he's weighing his options? :dunno:

Who's the first one to get posterized??
